Comparative study of different methods for the allocation of electricity transmission capacities to the France-Belgium interconnection.

Source: RTE 16/10/2002

RTE and ELIA are publishing a comparative study of different methods for the allocation of electricity transmission capacities to the France-Belgium interconnection.

The French and Belgian regulators, CRE and CREG, are organising during the month of October 2002 a public consultation concerning the allocation methods applied by the network operators at the border between Belgium and France. You will find further information about this subject on the CRE Web site.

In July 2002, the Belgian and French transmission system operators, Elia and RTE, had forwarded a joint study to the regulators relative to the methods for allocation at the border between the two countries, in accordance with the stipulations set out in the action plan drawn up in March by the transmission system operators and the regulators.
