In preparation for the next release of Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) package by the end of 2014, the Association of European TSOs ENTSO-E is holding six Regional Public Stakeholder Workshops. These workshops will address the methodologies concerning the TYNDP and the Regional Investment Plans (RgIPs) 2014 elaboration, with a regional focus, and the preliminary Pan-EU project assessment results of 2030 Visions at Regional level.

The aim of these Workshops is to engage regionally with interested stakeholders and gather appropriate feedback and input that will inform the development of the TYNDP package.

Each Regional Workshop will introduce and discuss the TYNDP and RgIPs processes and project assessment results by:

  • describing general TYNDP and RgIPs processes, and their new role under the Regulation (EU) 347/2013;
  • explaining the TYNDP projects assessment with the ENTSO-E Cost-Benefit Analysis Methodology;
  • presenting the scenarios' development status and the identification of multiple situations for future grid developments through pan-EU market study results (2030 Visions Approach);
  • describing preliminary Regional Market and Network Studies outcomes;
  • presenting preliminary Regional Projects assessment outcomes for projects of European relevance.

As member of ENTSO-E SDC Regional Groups Continental South West, Continental Central South and North Sea, RTE would like to give stakeholders the opportunity to introduce and discuss all these processes and the assessment of those Regional projects of pan-European relevance by attending the Regional Workshops as follows:
