Energy transition: what does the future hold for green energy remuneration?

On the 14th of october 2014, the French National Assembly has adopted the energy transition bill. This text will affect the way in which renewable energies (REs) are guaranteed the feed-in tariff. The support mechanisms currently in place are being reviewed to improve efficiency and sustainability, taking advantage of the maturity of some sectors. But what avenues for development are envisaged to make the transition? Thomas Veyrenc, Director of RTE's Markets Department, re-examines the bill and explains RTE's position. Read more

Rethinking data access

Working together to develop access to metering data and create digital services for intelligent power networks is the focus of the dialogue initiated by RTE in July 2014. The goals are to gradually move over to the benefits of the IP communication system for almost 8,500 metering points and to reconsider the proposal to allow stakeholders to optimise their activities.
