Generation forecast for the next day
For the selected day, the curve above shows the generation forecast (prepared in D-1) for generating units belonging to the perimeter of UFE’s Programming Responsible Entities. Information supplied by Programming Responsible Entities is hosted and published by RTE every day between 18:00 and 20:00 for the next day. The data given for each hourly interval distinguishes between programmable and non-programmable units. These data concern generation that programming managers plan to inject into the network. They do not take into account changes that may occur on the day D.
Programmable generation units include Generation Entities (‘EDP’) for which the programming manager provides a running programme daily, for the next day.
Non-programmable generation units include forecast Generation Entities (‘EDPrev’) for which generation the following day needs to be estimated, due to its intermittency. They notably include solar, wind, run-of river hydro-electric and incineration plants (waste, industrial process gases).
