As of today, RTE proposes a new qualification file to take part in the energy call for tenders that it will be organising periodically up to June 2004 so as to compensate for system losses.

As of today, RTE proposes a new qualification file to take part in the call for tenders that it will be organising periodically up to June 2004 so as to compensate for system losses. It is necessary for suppliers to obtain this qualification so that they can be informed of the launching of an invitation to tender and submit their bids to RTE.
The qualification, valid for a maximum one-year period, may be requested at any time by the interested parties.
The qualification principle in force since May 2002 serves to limit the administrative acts and shorten the time required to organise and respond to an invitation to tender. It also favours competition witness the fact that 25 suppliers are currently qualified by RTE.

The qualification file is composed of :
- a qualification application letter;
- administrative, financial and fiscal information;
- a General Agreement applicable to energy purchases to make up for the system losses, a document laying down the contractual framework and signed by both parties.
