To apply for Guarantees of Origin, you must sign a participation agreement with RTE for Chapters A and B of the rules governing Guarantees of Origin for applying for the issue of Guarantees of Origin. Subsequently, for each GoO application, you must send the completed application form to the following email address:
RTE-FCENT-GO@RTE-France.com
To ask RTE to record the use of a Guarantee of Origin on the National Register, you must sign a participation agreement with RTE for Chapters A and C of the Rules governing Guarantees of Origin for transferring and using Guarantees of Origin. An information system will allow you to effect transfers.
If you are the counterparty who wishes to use a Guarantee of Origin, you must ask RTE to record it on the National Register. This request is then processed by RTE’s information system, and registered after checks have been carried out on ownership of the guarantee, along with certain other checks. The corresponding changes are made to the Register when the next scheduled update is applied. This inclusion on the National Register can then no longer be modified.
To enter into contracts with RTE, you should get in touch with your contact at the CNES (RTE’s National Control Centre), who will then draw up the contract.
