France - Spain interconnection
For exports and imports, capacity is offered in yearly, monthly, daily and intra-daily explicit auctions. The auctions are operated by REE and RTE.

In addition to this, a certain visibility is offered regarding the NTC values during the main planned outages on the interconnection, capacity forecasts at the monthly allocations over the next 6 months and weekly forecasts of NTC.

12/12/2012: IESOE Transparency Platform Launch
Data about the France-Spain interconnection are available as well through the IESOE transparency platform (www.iesoe.eu,). This platform is the result of a coordinated transparency project of the four TSOs of the South West Europe region and Morocco -ONEE, REE, REN and RTE. The platform gathers relevant information on the capacity and use of interconnections between the French, Spanish, Portuguese and Moroccan electric systems.
