France - England Interconnection : National Grid and RTE are publishing Issue 4 of IFA Access Rules.

Today, National Grid and RTE are publishing Issue 4 of the IFA Access Rules dated 31st July 2002 and applicable from 16 August 2002.

After consultation with Users, National Grid and RTE have sent Issue 4 of the IFA Access Rules to actual Users of the IFA link on 31st July 2002. In accordance with Rule B4, they will be applicable from 24h00 (French time) on 16th August 2002. The main modifications to the previous version are as follows:

• the rules take into account the introduction in France of the Access Rules for Imports and Exports on the French Public Power Transmission Network,


• simplification of the credit cover arrangements.
